Join the Re-entry Student Leadership Team!
The Re-entry Student Program offers both employment and internship opportunities for current re-entry students.
Employment: Students are able to apply for the Peer Advisor position where you will advocate for other reentry students’ academic success.
Internships: As an intern, you can earn up to 2 units of credit that apply towards graduation.
1 unit = 45 hours per semester
2 units = 90 hours per semester
Summer interns: 10 weeks
Fall/Spring interns: 15 weeks
Working hours are flexible and will be arranged with the Program Coordinator.

Opportunities for engagement in our employment and internships include:
- Peer counseling
- Co-facilitating Cal introductory courses
- Facilitating OWLs meetings
- Maintaining social media platforms
- Independently initiating student leadership projects
- Developing new strategies for community advocacy
